Headed to Las Iguanas for my birthday celebration as I had a free main meal to be claimed. Had Sizzling Steak Fajitas. What can I say, but absolute disappointment! Basically it’s like a toned down version of those sizzling hotplate dishes sold at Chinese hawker stalls in Malaysia (something similar to this).
Call it Latin American and serve it with guacamole, cheese, and salsa and you’re automatically conned into thinking it’s delicious. It’s just steak slices with black pepper sauce and some green and red peppers and onions. Them hawker stalls pull this off way better and with more complex flavours too!
Mwahaha I pulled off a great train robbery when the total bill came up to £ 1 less than the cost of my main course! It’s like they paid me £ 1 to eat there.
