Had Fritto Misto off the lunch menu at £ 9.95 – it was the best seafood I’ve had so far in the UK and so worth it! Being a Penangnite, I miss fresh seafood. Description from the menu: “Selection of lightly-battered whitebait, king prawns, calamari, baby squid, mussels and sardines served with lettuce and fresh lemon.” it was pretty good on its own seasoned with salt and pepper although at the end it felt ‘jelak‘ (a feeling one gets when eating too much of moreish food) and I felt that it could do with some tartar sauce. However, that would be an insult to ask for that in an authentic Italian restaurant!
