What I Ate Today #1

  1. Pulled pork sandwich at Grillstock Smokehouse. It wasn’t that stand-out to me, yet my companions raved about it as though it was the best meal of their life. It was just like rendang (serunding type) or even bak huu (pork floss) to me.
  2. Raw(!) salmon nigiri and cucumber maki from Waitrose. Finally! I’ve missed this despite not being a fan of sashimi back home. Most supermarket sushi use smoked salmon for longer shelf life.
  3. Chicken curry with potatoes eaten with rice. Used Tean’s Gourmet brand pre-made curry mix brought from Penang.
