First time using Donal Skehan’s recipe. My friends and I happened to stumble upon his cooking demo at BBC Food Connections. Since it was the birthday of one of them, I decided to bake this cake when I scoured his website for cake recipes. It’s a Swedish cake known as ‘kladdkaka‘. I dub this cake Dreamboat’s Dream Cake. 😉
The birthday girl thought it was store-bought! It’s so easy to make that I baked them again in the form of cupcakes too with the filling sandwiched in the middle for friends that missed out on the cake the first time round.
